Infographic: The death of Language

 I chose to use the Native American people of Muskogee, which is a native language to the Seminole, Creek, Northern Muskogean, and Maskoki tribes of America. Which is now an endangered language due to the displacement and killing of many Native Americans. There are only 4,200 Muskogean speakers left in the world. After reviewing the video "Whitewashed: Unmasking the World of Whiteness." Some white American's feel guilty for what their ancestors have done to other races, and some feel no remorse and identify as racist. Everyone in America has to be considered to be immigrants, except for Native Americans. Especially white Americans. Who has ancestors that traveled from Ireland, Scotland, Britain, and other European countries. A great question was asked. "How did your ancestors get turned into white people?" It has to be an opposition in color. For example, Native Americans called "Redskins." Everyone who identify as white has a certain level of privileg

When things are overly complicated Americans tend to not do the research to understand but lean on media for every piece of information regarding other countries or situations. The song that was playing in the beginning of the video stated. “I watch CNN, but I don’t think I can tell you the difference between Iraq and Iran.” This is alarming because we were at war with one of the countries and in political disagreement with the other. Iraq was being overrun by the Taliban, not all citizens of Iraq are against America. Sex is defined as different biological characteristics at birth. Gender is the cultural definitions given to the physical differences. Sex is categorized as male or female. Gender says and defines the characteristics of the sex. For example, males are strong, and competitive. In this blog,  I will be expressing who I am, and describing what language and power means to me.  My name is Hajji Golightly, I am a student at Webster University. I am a project  manager and cannot disclose the company I work for. I like to work out and play video games. Mainly Apex Legends. I am a very laid-back person who likes to just relax on my days off.
